Dave Farley is a thought-leader in the field of Continuous Delivery, DevOps and Software Development, co-author of the Jolt-award winning book “Continuous Delivery”, and one of the authors of the Reactive Manifesto. Dave has been having fun with computers for over 30 years. He is the former Head of Software development at LMAX Ltd, home of the OSS Disruptor, and is now an independent software developer and consultant, and founder and director of Continuous Delivery Ltd.
Katrina McIvor started working in industry after finishing her PhD in Computer Science investigating how to build maps for intelligent mobile agents (robots, but sometimes without the physical bodies!). She was Principal Technologist for DevOps at QA, where she was in charge of the entire curriculum area. In her spare time she likes to learn new programming languages, and go camping, usually with a side order of chasing orcs through trees with a spear (LARPing).
Sarah Wells is a principal engineer at the Financial Times, currently working on building a semantic publishing platform, providing access to all the FT’s published content and metadata via APIs. She has been a developer for 15 years.
Jamie Dobson is the founder and CEO of Container Solutions, a professional services company that specialises in cloud migration. Jamie specialises in strategy for cloud migration, matching business needs to technological choices.
Björn Bohn works as an editor at the German publishing house Heise Medien. He mainly covers software development for the online channel heise Developer.
